Click Search -> Result list –page will

Search criteria will retrieve the corresponding data ( characters )
from the beginning of the following search fields :
- Application number
- Patent number / Registration number
- PCT-application number
- Priority number
- IPC-class
NOTE: "PCT-application
number" -search criteria concerns only PCT-applications which
are extended in Finland.
Search criteria will retrieve the corresponding data ( characters
) also from the middle of the "Inventor
first name" search field.
You can use "wildcard"
* with following search fields :
- Title in Finnish
- Title in Swedish
- Applicant / Owner name
- Inventor family name
- Patent agent
- Click any row from result list to see application
data in more details.
NOTE : When you move from page
to another, use application own links which are designed to this
purpose. PLEASE DO
NOT USE BACK OR FORWARD IN THE BROWSER
Writing search criteria
You can use as many fields as available.
You must write at least one search criteria in one search field.
Search criteria must contain at least three (3) first characters
except Date fields (this
does not concern search fields "Applicant/Owner name", "Inventor
first-/family name", "Patent agent").
Searching in "Finnish / Swedish title"- , "Applicant
/ owner name"-, "Inventor family name"-
and "Patent agent" -fields
With these fields you can use "wildcard" *.
Search criteria must contain at least three (3) characters (other
than wildcards) (this
does not concern search fields "Applicant/Owner name", "Inventor
first-/family name", "Patent agent").
E.g. Searching Finnish word kone with
wildcard *, can give you following search results :
Search criterian -> Result
kone -> "oy kone ab", "kone
oy"
kone* -> "oy konekeskus", "konekeskus"
*kone -> "tietokone oy", "oy tietokone"
*kone* -> "tietokone oy", "konekeskus", "tietokonekeskus
oy"
Searching in IPC class field
IPC class search criterion format is e.g. C08J5/12 or
a61h33/06 or A61K123/
You do not have to type spaces in any part
of IPC class search criterion.
Searching in Application date field
If you write date in the first Application date field only – you
will get all applications having that exact application date given.
If you write another date in the second Application field also – you
will get all applications having application dates between given
dates.
Searching in Publication date field
If you write date in the first Publication date field only – you
will get all Publications having that exact Publication date given.
If you write another date in the second Publication field also – you
will get all Publications having Publication dates between given
dates.
Searching in Grant date field
If you write date in the first Grant date field only – you will
get all Grants having that exact Grant date given.
If you write another date in the second Grant field also – you
will get all Grants having Grant dates between given dates.
Result list
You can view application number, patent No./registration No., IPC-classes,title
and applicant(s) / owner(s) of all applications found in the result
list.
You
can see
the number
of applications found at the top of the result list page.
You can view data of 25 applications at one time starting with the latest
application date as first in the results.
At the bottom of the result list you can browse :
list of first 25
of all applications found
list of previous
25 applications found
list of next 25
applications found
list of last
25 of all applications found
Click any row from result list to see application data in more details.
Click Print to view all applications found in the search in new window
where you can print / save all at the same time.
